What is a Color Run?

The Color Run is a unique experience less focused on speed and more on crazy color fun with friends and family. Color runners come from all ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds, but everyone who runs is sure to have a color blast.

How does it work?

The Color Run has two simple components: 1. White Race shirts at the beginning and 2. Color plastered on shirts and runners at the finish! Volunteers will apply the powder-based color on runners via three color stations along the course and at the start.

What is the color?

The color is a powder composed of all food-grade and cosmetic-grade ingredients and is not intended for consumption. The product is tested and certified as FDA-approved and non-dust explosive by OSHA. Just as the color powders shouldn’t be consumed, they’re also not meant to be inhaled in large quantities. That said, individuals with asthma or who are allergic to any ingredients in the powder should use caution when taking part in an event where the color powder is present. Additionally, because the powder isn’t meant to be inhaled, it should always be used in well-ventilated spaces, such as outdoors.
